Wine hike through the vineyards of the South Moselle

Experience the southern Moselle in an enjoyable and informative way: Together with the cultural and wine ambassadors Alfred Strupp, Hellen Meijer and Thomas Fickert, you will explore the idyllic wine landscape, taste the wines where they are produced – directly in the vineyard – and learn exciting facts about viticulture, the region and its history.
Schedule
We'll start at 11am at the winery in Palzem with a sparkling wine reception before beginning our approximately 8-kilometer hike. Our cultural and wine ambassadors will accompany you on an exciting tour through the vineyards, partly along the Moselsteig trail. The hike leads across paths and meadows to the Wehrer Rosenberg vineyard, where a short climb using ladders will reward you with a breathtaking view of the Moselle landscape.
Along the way, you'll taste selected wines directly in the vineyard and enjoy a hearty winemaker's snack with regional specialties. For participants who prefer not to drink wine, non-alcoholic alternatives are of course available (please let us know when booking).
The hike ends back at the winery around 4pm.

Please bring sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing – we hike in (almost) all weather conditions!

Mulled wine hike with Hellen
When the days get shorter and the evenings cooler, it's just the right time for our atmospheric mulled wine hike with Hellen!
We start at the winery and hike together through the autumnal and wintery vineyards and along picturesque sections of the Moselsteig Trail.
Along the way, warming mulled wine and a hearty portion of Riesling soup await you – perfect for warming up and enjoying.
🎅 On December 6th, there will be a special St. Nicholas edition with little surprises along the way!
